Accommodation
Accommodation is on full-board basis with a daily tea time service. The Lady Sophia spoils you for choice with 70 comfortable, well equipped,

spacious cabins and suites spread across five decks (accommodation on four deck levels):

  • 64 large Double cabins
  • 4 Single cabins
  • 2 Suites

Cabins are a roomy 19 m² while suites offer a generous 25 m² of space.  The lower deck (1) features 8 double cabins and the same number are housed on deck (2) with the addition of 2 single cabins.  Deck (3) features 24 double cabins and 2 suites.  The upper deck (4) has 28 double cabins and a further 2 single cabins.

Cabins have large balcony-style panoramic windows (except the lower deck) overlooking the Nile. A full laundry service is available on request. 

Every cabin is fully air conditioned (individually controlled) and all cabins are equipped with:

  • Private W/C, shower and hairdryer.
  • Satellite TV (while docked) and music system.
  • Safe for storing valuables
  • Mini bar/fridge
  • Special upgraded amenities are also available for those guests booking suites:

Dining & Leisure Facilities
The restaurant serves a mix of open buffet-style meals and set menus and accommodates the full complement of guests in one sitting.  The spacious and luxurious lounge features elegant seating and a bar serving beers, wines, cocktails and soft drinks.  The lounge also features a full size snooker/billiards/pool table.  You could indulge yourself by the pool bar sipping refreshing drinks while admiring the view or working out with the fitness equipment available on the Sun deck.
The swimming pool and pool bar are located on the large Sun deck that runs the entire length of the ship and you’ll find parasols, loungers and deck chairs together for your comfort and relaxation.  A gift shop and bazaar on board will supply souvenirs or you can indulge yourself in the beauty salon (open twice weekly in Aswan and Luxor). or pamper yourself in the massage room. Keep in touch with home through a chargeable international telephone and fax service or dance the night away in the disco and enjoy music performances held in the lounge.

Itineraries
The Lady Sophia cruises between Luxor and Aswan.
The 3 night/4 day cruise programme sailing from Aswan to Luxor would normally consist of:
Day 1.  Check in and take lunch on board.  Felucca trip on the Nile before dinner and overnighting on board. 
Day 2.  Visit Aswan taking in the Philae temple and the High Dam (optional trips to temples of Abu Simbel available at extra cost).  Then sail to Kom Ombo for visit.  Lunch on board.  Sail on to Edfu.  Dinner on board and overnight at Edfu.
Day 3.  Visit Edfu and take lunch on board.  Sail on to Esna and Luxor.  Take dinner and overnight on board at Luxor.
Day 4.  Breakfast on board.  Check out.
The 4 night/5 day cruise programme sailing from Luxor to Aswan would normally consist of:
Day 1.  Check in from airport and take dinner onboard.  Overnight at Luxor.
Day 2.  Visit the West Bank of Luxor, taking in the Valley of the Kings, Medinet Habu, Memnon Colossus and Hatshepsut’s Temple.  Take lunch on board before visiting the East bank temples of Luxor and Karnak.  Sail on to Esna where we will take dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Sail to Edfu and visit temple of Horus.  Take lunch on board and then sail to Kom Ombo where we visit the temples of Sbobek and Haroeris before taking dinner and overnighting on board.
Day 4.  Sail to Aswan and take lunch on board.  Visit the Philae temple and the High Dam (optional trips to temples of Abu Simbel available at extra cost) and felucca trip on the Nile.  Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan.
Day  5.  Check out and disembark after lunch (or lunch box) on board.
The 7 night/8 day cruise programme sailing from Luxor and returning to Luxor would usually consist of:
Day 1.  Check in and overnight on board.
Day 2.  Visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.  Sail on to Edfu via Esna and overnight on board.
Day 3.  Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus Temple.  Sail on to Kom Ombo and overnight on board.
Day 4.  Sail to Aswan.  Visit the High Dam, unfinished Obelisque and Philae Temple.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 5.  Optional visit to the Temples of Abu Simbel (charged extra) in the morning.  Afternoon trip to the Botanical Gardens in Felucca.  Overnight on board in Aswan.
Day 6.  Early departure, sailing to Kom Ombo.  Visit the Sobek Temple then sail on to Edfu before steaming on to Luxor via Esna.
Day 7.  Visit the West Bank of Luxor and the ancient monuments of Thebes.  In the afternoon, your time is yours to spend at leisure before overnighting on board at Luxor.
Day 8.  Check out and take home fantastic memories.
